Outline

The whole book, mapped and editable, before a chapter is written

The outline is the most important document in the build: parts, chapters, your stories, and your studies, all placed where they belong and all yours to change before the writing starts.

The outline builds itself

Hit the outline step and the agents get to work. A full outline takes several minutes, and BookBuilder narrates the whole way: pulling research cards, building the chapter structure, placing studies into lessons. At busy hours it may tell you to grab a coffee while it holds your place in line... let it finish. This map is what the writers follow.

Title and subtitle, your call

The outline opens with the book’s title and subtitle, and both are fields you can edit directly. Or ask the chat for 3 more titles... tell it the direction you like and BookBuilder updates the saved outline itself. Nothing here is locked to the first suggestion.

Every chapter is a blueprint

Scroll the book map and you see the whole book: parts, then chapters, each one an editable card. A chapter carries its payoff, its numbered how-to steps, a This Is Key line that prints as a boxed callout in the finished book, proof with study chips, a story slot, and mistakes and objections when the material calls for them. Parts get a topic, a quote, an overview, and key benefits. Add chapter below and Add part below drop new pieces anywhere. And the Closing Chapter writes itself... BookBuilder builds the final chapter from everything above it, so there’s nothing to outline there.

Get it for me: research per chapter Pro

Any chapter that needs proof says so, right on the card, with a Get it for me link. Click it and the research agent hunts for studies that support that specific chapter... give it about a minute. The results come back with every box pre-checked: uncheck what you don’t want, hit Add the checked ones, and the studies drop into the chapter as proof chips. You can also just ask for research in the chat.

Write one chapter, or the whole book

You’ve got 2 ways to start the writing. Write Introduction first: it’s the fastest way to taste the voice and make sure the book sounds like you. Or hit Write My Book in the top bar and go to lunch... BookBuilder drafts front to back, chapter by chapter, and the book is waiting when you get back. Every written chapter gets a check mark in the book map and its button flips from Write to Rewrite, so you always know where you stand.
