Cover and Publish

A finished cover and a print-ready PDF

Design the full jacket the way you would in a layout tool, then export the whole book, cover included, as a clean PDF.

Back, spine, and front Pro

The cover designer gives you the full jacket... back, spine, and front, with the spine width computed for your book and the trim boundary and bleed marked on the canvas. Two trim sizes: 6 × 9 POD edition or 8.5 × 11 sample, plus a Front only view when that’s all you need. The back cover carries your description, publisher line, website, and ISBN... reserve the barcode area or upload your own barcode.

Cover art in one ask

Type a cover image brief... what the cover should show... pick one of the same 5 visual styles, and hit Generate cover image. Or upload your own image, or start from the built-in starter looks. Set your accent color, pick a type style (Modern Sans or Classic Serif), and rebuild it until it looks like a book you’d pull off the shelf.

Type like a designer

Select any text layer... title, subtitle, author, the spine, the back cover... and you get designer controls: size, leading, all caps, alignment, color, and rotation for the spine. Accent bars run the top and bottom with a hard cut or a fade. Small type changes do most of the work of a professional cover, and they’re all one click here. Download PNG or Save Design when it’s right.

Print and export

When the book’s ready, hit the print icon in the editor. The CREATE PDF menu shows how many laid-out pages you’ve got, takes a page range when you want just part of the book, and offers to include your matching front cover. Click Export PDF. Done.
